Research interests
Understanding the immunological mechanisms that govern cardiac recovery and the pathogenesis of heart failure, with a focus on:
- Mechanisms that distinguish pediatric from adult cardiomyopathy
- Pathogenesis and resolution of primary graft dysfunction in cardiac transplantation
- Understanding the role of macrophage diversity in heart failure pathogenesis, tissue repair/regeneration, and coronary growth
